How do I get to the hostel from Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO)?The hostel is about 57 km from JRO and takes 45–60 minutes by car. We offer airport pickups on request, or you can take a local taxi or shuttle. Please contact us in advance to arrange pickup.

Do you offer orientation for new guests?Yes! We offer a short orientation tour around Moshi town, including visits to the central market, supermarkets, ATMs, restaurants, and more. Just ask at reception to join.

How can I get to Moshi town from the hostel?You can take a bajaji (TZS 1,000–2,000), a boda boda (TZS 1,000–1,500), or walk (about 40–45 minutes, 3–4 km). We recommend bajaji for comfort and safety.

Where is the nearest market?The Moshi Central Market is 3.5 km away and open daily. It’s great for fresh fruits, vegetables, and local souvenirs. It’s easy to reach by bajaji in about 10–15 minutes.

Where can I buy groceries or toiletries?Visit Rafiki or Viva Supermarket, about 4–5 km away. You can go by bajaji, boda boda, or walk if you enjoy the stroll.

Is the hostel located in a safe area?Yes. The hostel is in a safe neighborhood with 24/7 gate security. During the day, walking is safe, but at night we recommend using a bajaji or taxi.
